The World Première of Three Variants on a Blue, for violin and piano, took place on Tuesday 27th April 1999 at London's Purcell Room performed by Nadia Lasserson and Peter Fisher. This first performance was given to a packed audience in a programme which included items by Brahms, Berlioz and Poulenc.
